Yellow fleshed and very appreciated for its flavour and its consistence. It is widely distributed due to the last years increse in commercial demand. It is grown in certain areas of the south of the island and also in some places of the north (medium altitude areas between La Esperanza and La Matanza, about 400 m. above seelevel). Short-cycle culture.

Seed potato “COLORADA DE BAGA”

Very appreciated and grown to a greater or lesser extent in medium altitude areas of all the north of the island of Tenerife, as well as in certain points of Anaga. Long-cycle culture. Tubers take long time to sprout and their flavour improves with time, being their quality better some months after the harvest.

It is our most widely distributed potato. It can be found growing practically in all the north of the island of tenerife, in medium altitude areas. Yellow fleshed. Long-cycle culture.

Grown mainly in the areas of Anaga and Teno (Tenerife Island), although it shows a good adaptation to other areas. It has a high percentage of dry matter, which makes it very suitable to be served along with saucy dishes. intermediate-cycle culture. Pale yellow fleshed. There are two types: rose skinned and white skinned.
